Tatina Phan, MSW (Hons), RSW
Tatina is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Tatina has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Dalhousie University and has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with Honours from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in 2011.
Tatina has over 10 years of experience working with and supporting children and families in Toronto, Durham, Peel, Kawarthas, Northumberland, and Quinte Region. She takes an integrative and trauma-informed approach drawing from Attachment Theory, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy and mindfulness practices.
Her practice framework is deeply rooted in collaboration, inclusion, anti-oppression and the belief that everyone deserves a safe space to gain awareness and clarity in order to be present with themselves and others. Her areas of clinical practice include trauma, grief and loss, resilience, compassion fatigue and burnout, crisis intervention, healing from abuse and adverse childhood experiences, and overall mental wellness.
